One of the biggest indoor water theme parks in Europe offers unforgettable entertainment to visitors of every age throughout the year.
The adventure centre is covered by a giant dome, 5-storey high and of a diameter of 72 m. It is so big it could host comfortably a family of blue whales, the biggest animals on Earth.
15 of the 17 pools of this unique water complex are open in every season. The huge adventure pool pampers visitors with lying and sitting massage, neck shower, a mountain river and much more. The indoor pool is connected to a heated outdoor pool open throughout the year.

You can easily spend a whole day here, as the museum does not only offer the possibility to have a look and marvel at locomotives; you can also try them out—in all possible sizes and types. And those who have already watched a railway turntable in operation will want to experience over and over again how the machine twists and turns to finally place locomotives on the appropriate pair of rails. A fascinating experience for all ages!

The Laser Theatre houses some productions of unprecedented interest like “The Hedgehog and the Stars”—an evergreen of the Planetarium, boasting a dome of 1,000 sqm. The activities are organised by the Society for the Dissemination of Scientific Knowledge. After the show, it is worth paying a visit to Uránia Observatory (I., Sánc u. 3/b, www.urania-budapest.hu), equally owned by the Society. If the skies are clear, telescopes at the Observatory give visitors the opportunity to see Mercury (the planet closest to the Sun), shiny Venus, red Mars and colourful Jupiter with their own eyes, or watch current astronomical developments unfold.
