Famous wine merchants and the honorary guest country will provide a selection of foreign wines as well. Many are proud possessors of medals and prizes won at prestigious international and domestic competitions. Winemakers will also be present to answer any questions from wine enthusiasts.
15 countries, 220 wineries, 5000 types of wine! Moreover, Hungary’s finest winemakers, with special attention to the youngest generation, the descendants of most well-known winemakers; five days of cultural and musical entertainment and special, gastronomic delights using quality domestic ingredients. Faithful to traditions, Wine University, Folk Music and Folk Dance Gala and Charity Wine Auction are also waiting for the audiance!
The Wine Festival offers entertainment and relaxation for young families with children. In addition to the play centre childminding service, free, high quality entertainment are also offered for children.
Free internet access will be available again this year not only making it possible to continuously keep in touch with friends and to immediately share your experiences but also providing possibility to use smartphones for different purposes, e.g. map of the Festival, data and contact details of exhibiting winemakers, and many other useful applications can be downloaded.
