Budapest Space-Film-Music Festival 2009

The open-air „rooftop garden cinema” is free for everybody at the heart of the city, on the roof terrace of the West End Shopping Centre. The film festival is aimed at all ages of people, organizers offer 2 months of quality summer entertainment every day from 17:00 to 23:00 for anybody who is interested in films.

The films are projected onto a large-scale special screen that can be watched in good quality even in broad daylight. The programme is divided into 4 time slots. The repertoire includes mainly children’s films, animated films, TV productions and movies, but from 22:00 silent films are shown accompanied by live piano music. The range of films is selected from the best Hungarian and international films of the last decades. The programme includes the winners of the last Film Review, as well as the most successful Hungarian comedies of the last few years.
Early evenings, before the main film there are live, musical programmes to entertain guests; the organizers are looking forward to welcoming everybody to their light, summer evening programmes.
